Alcohol and tobacco have been taxed for years, essentially "punishing" those people addicted to these items. I don't know how they are going to choose how to tax "unhealthy" foods, or if it will just be an across the board tax of all fast food, but the outrageous taxes haven't stopped people drinking and smoking, it won't stop them from their Whoppers and Big Macs.
